SEN Teaching Assistant role in: West Midlands
Starting date: 3rd March 2025
Salary: £85 - 95 per day, dependant on experience
Temporary, ongoing Contract
Full Time Vacancy (8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday)SEN Teaching Assistant Specification
We are currently seeking a motivated SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time job in a SEND School in the West Midlands.
To be considered you should have a passion for supporting SEND learners and have an expert knowledge of the SEND school curriculum, along with and having a caring and nurturing approach to your work.
You need to be a qualified SEN Teaching Assistant (level 2 minimum)
Have a excellent knowledge of the UK SEND system
Be able to nurture and support young children with SEND
Ideally have worked at least 12 months within Special Needs
Safeguarding level 1 trained
Dedicated to supporting young SEND learnersThe school is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant
The school is a setting for children with ASD, Moderate, and Severe learning difficulties, as such they are looking for someone with a great background knowledge of these types of needs.
They are a Good school, with a lovely family feel, and require someone to uphold their caring values, along with assisting the development of it's students.
Someone with a pro-active, engaging ability with children would be a great fit for this role. Being a SEND school, you must be diligent and professional, as you will be solely responsible for children with a range of needs and abilities.
SEN Teaching Assistant Summary
The school is looking for a strong, confident SEN Teaching Assistant who is confident in their ability to engage with and inspire pupils to achieve their best. To successfully apply you must be a fully qualified TA with excellent classroom practices and a love for SEND.
