SEN Teaching Assistant (ASD Support) - Nottingham - NG5

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a primary school near NG5. The Role:
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 support)
Location: NG5, Nottinghm
Start Date: As soon as possible
Hours: Full-time, term-time only
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to a pupil with ASD in the classroom and during school activities.
Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Use strategies to manage behaviour positively and effectively.
Assist with sensory and emotional regulation when required.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with ASD or other special educational needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach.
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
