SEN TA - Blackburn: Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced teaching assistant with experience supporting complex needs to join a school near to Blackburn. Role Responsibilities: Leading groups of children on learning activities Managing behaviour effectively Preparing resources and establishing learning areas Building rapport with parents, students and staff Communicating with class teacher to monitor progressPosition Details: Location: Blackburn Position: SEN TA Hours: 8:45am-3:45pm, Mon-Fri Type of Work: Temporary Full time/Part time: Full time only Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience Start date: Jan 2025 End date: OngoingExperience, Training & Qualifications: Previous experience supporting children in a school setting is essential Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desired Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold right to work in the UK Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references OTHER If you would like to be considered for any primary teaching roles, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
