*** Job Title: SEN Learning Mentor
*** Pay: £80 - £90 per day
*** Duration: Immediate start until July 2025
*** School Type & Location: ‘Good’ secondary school, Wednesbury
*** Key Duties: 1:1 and small group support for students with autism and ADHD
As an SEN Learning Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional needs. Working closely with teachers and the SENCO, you will provide tailored interventions, helping students to engage with their learning and develop key skills. Your role will involve assisting with classroom activities, implementing behaviour strategies, and offering emotional support to ensure each student thrives in their education.
This role is ideal for a psychology, education, or related graduate looking to gain experience in a school setting. You should be patient, empathetic, and proactive in supporting students with SEN. Previous experience working with young people, whether in a school, tutoring, or care setting, is beneficial. Strong communication skills and a commitment to making a difference are essential.
