Job Description

Security Consultant (Policy Writing) – 4-month contract – Outside IR35 – Remote We are seeking a Security Consultant to lead the review, alignment, and documentation of global security policies for a multinational organization. In this role, you will ensure that security policies align with UK best practices while facilitating collaboration with international stakeholders. You’ll take full ownership of the policy review and update process—from categorizing existing policies to securing final approval for amendments. Key Responsibilities of the Security Consultant: Policy Review Categorization: Analyze and classify group technology security policies. Stakeholder Mapping: Identify relevant IT teams and stakeholders for each policy. Gap Analysis: Assess policies for alignment with UK best practices and global standards. Stakeholder Engagement Build relationships with international stakeholders and understand operational nuances. Facilitate discussions to gather input and refine policies collaboratively. Policy Updates & Amendments Revise policies based on team input, ensuring clarity and alignment with security best practices. Track all changes and document amendments for easy reference and future updates. Present final drafts for review, sign-off, and publication. NISD Experience The Security Consultant is able to work fully remote for the duration of the 4-month contract.
