Scientific Business Development Manager Permanent Opportunity Remote role with some travel throughout the UK £30,000 – 40,000 + commission The Company An innovative biotechnology startup is looking for a Scientific Business Development Manager drive the company’s growth and build on their existing client base by leading the sales and marketing functions of the business. This is an exciting opportunity to join this unique and friendly business where you could have a major impact on the organisation and they are looking for someone who is keen to grow their career with the business. The Role The successful Scientific Business Development Manager will work on a variety of tasks to lead the company’s sales and marketing initiatives, including; Plan and deliver the company’s sales strategy Identify and engage with new business opportunities Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients Attend conferences, networking events and exhibitions throughout the UK Carry out a range of sales activities including organising meetings, following up on leads, cold-calling and emailing Plan and design the company’s marketing strategy to support business development Your Experience The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience: A minimum of a BSc in a relevant Life Sciences subject (a Master’s would be advantageous) Experience within a Business Development or commercially focused role   Strong communication and people skills Someone who wants to make an impact on this growing organisation looking to grow in their career Next Steps If you are interested in this opportunity to be a Scientific Business Development Manager please apply online.
