Location: A school in Grimsby
Salary: £25 – £35 per hour
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary
GSL Education Lincolnshire is recruiting a dedicated Science Tutor to support small groups of secondary school students in Grimsby. This role is perfect for a science graduate or an aspiring teacher looking to make a difference in learners' academic journeys.
Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted intervention sessions in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics.
Support students in understanding complex scientific concepts.
Track progress and adapt resources to meet individual learning needs.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure consistency in delivery.
Provide mentoring and academic support where necessary.
Requirements:
Degree in a Science-related subject or relevant experience.
A passion for education and supporting young people.
Strong subject knowledge and effective communication skills.
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to pay for one through GSL Education Lincolnshire.
