Job Advertisement: School Caretaker – North Birmingham Secondary School! Are you an experienced school caretaker with a passion for maintaining high standards in a school setting? Are you looking for a new opportunity to work in a supportive and experience maintenance team? T4S Education are working with a secondary school with the recruitment of an school caretaker to join a thriving secondary school in North Birmingham. This is a permanent position with an immediate start. Key Details: * Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum * Hours: Rotational shifts: * Week 1: 6:00am – 2:00pm * Week 2: 10:30am – 6:30pm Role Responsibilities: As the school caretaker, you will: * Support the day-to-day management of the school premises. * Perform maintenance tasks to ensure the building and facilities are safe and in excellent condition. * Assist with site security and health & safety compliance. * Respond promptly to general maintenance and repair requests. * Collaborate with the Site Supervisor and other team members to uphold a clean, secure, and welcoming environment. The Ideal Candidate: * Experience: Previous experience in a school facilities role is highly desirable. * Skills: Strong maintenance skills, including basic repairs and DIY tasks. * Attributes: Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team. * Requirements: A valid enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
