Job Description
This company is seeking an experienced SAP Technologist Specialist to join their highly motivated, international, and multi-functional team. As the SAP Technologist Specialist, you will be the local focal point within this company's UK operations for all activities related to the ERP platform team.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for setting up, running, and supporting the change management and transport processes. You will coordinate and follow the end-to-end incident management, as well as monitor and configure the Basis settings, interface creation, and DDIC changes. Additionally, you will administer and maintain the multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment, including development, test, and production.
To be successful in this SAP Technologist Specialist position, you must have a proven consulting background in providing both technical delivery and operations on SAP technology. Extensive experience in SAP system security parameters and related implementation processes to ensure system security permanently is essential. Additionally, you must possess strong performance tuning skills, both functional and technical, with the ability to analyse and fine-tune existing systems.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business processes and the technical architecture of the SAP landscape. You will be responsible for defining and suggesting SAP best practices and golden rules to the company. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact directly with key users in the business and other systems developers in the IT organisation are crucial.
