Sales Office Administrator

Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Sales Office Administrator to oversee and manage the internal sales administration process.
This is a key role within the business, ensuring that all sales-related administration is efficiently handled from order placement to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities within the Sales Office Administrator Role:
π Processing Sales Orders and Order Acknowledgements using Microsoft Business Central ERP.
βοΈ Managing order launches into production and keeping customers informed of delivery schedules.
π Providing office-based customer support, responding to sales enquiries, and assisting the sales team and distributors.
πΌ Preparing invoices and credit notes while liaising with the finance team.
π¦ Handling supplier procurement portals for order and shipment management.
π Creating and processing export documentation (Letters of Credit, Certificates of Origin, Bills of Lading, etc.).
π Raising purchase orders for freight, travel, and related services.
π Booking transport and arranging UK and international site deliveries.
π§ Collaborating with the project team to gather technical information for factory orders and project schedules.

Coordinating with the Operations Manager for installation planning.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
βοΈ Strong administrative experience, preferably within a sales or manufacturing environment.
βοΈ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
βοΈ Excellent communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with internal teams and external customers.
βοΈ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Microsoft Business Central ERP is highly desirable.
βοΈ A confident problem-solver with a positive, upbeat approach and a willingness to take initiative.
