We are currently recruiting for an experience Sales Ledger Clerk to join a friendly finance team, within the education sector based in Nottingham initially 6 months fixed term contract with the potential becoming a permanent position.
As the Sales Ledger Clerk you will be supporting the Management Accountant and Financial Controller.
Main duties of the Sales Ledger Clerk will be:
* Working closely with the Management Accountant and Financial Controller
* Managing the Sales Ledger
* Raising sales invoices
* Processing sales invoices
* Chasing outstanding payments
* Taking debit/ credit payments
* Managing petty cash and expenses
* Raising and preparing weekly and monthly reports
* Dealing with queries
* Ad hoc duties relating to accounts/ finance
Ideal candidate should have:
* Experience of Sales Ledger
* Experience of working in within the Education sector would be an advantage
* AAT or equivalent would be an advantage
* Excellent communication skills verbal and written
* Able to work to strict deadlines
* Hold current DBS would be desirable
