Sales Administration Supervisor Location: Mildenhall, Suffolk Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm Salary: Circa £40,000 per annum Benefits: 26 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, health cash plan and death in service cover – 3x annual salary Duration: 12 Month Contract – Maternity Cover Do you work in the manufacturing industry and have experience of managing and leading a sales and order processing team, including supporting with training and development and overseeing the day-to-day performance? Look no further, we have just the role for you. Join this manufacturing business as the Sales Administration Supervisor to cover a 12 month maternity cover contract. Who are we? Job Duties: * Managing the sales inbox and ensuring that all orders are processed in a timely manner * Manging a team of 4 and providing 1 to 1 support * Ensure that all orders have the appropriate paperwork * Liaising with Design team regarding special orders * Maintaining a high level of customer service at all times * Investigating customer complaints * Continue developing sales standards and implement needed training * Tracking enquiry levels and producing reports * Provide KPI’s (key performance data) * Promoting a positive health and safety culture throughout the business * Leading and managing the team * Assist with recruitment and selection throughout the department * Completing inductions and onboarding * Completing appraisals and general staff support What we are looking for: * Previous team manager experience – is sales and order processing * Manufacturing or production industry background * A positive ‘can do’ and friendly attitude and be adaptable, motivated, and well-organised * Good knowledge of MS packages including Outlook, Word, and Excel * Excellent communication skills * Good attention to detail and be able to prioritise effectively * Have a proactive continuous improvement mindset * Proven ability to coach and support colleagues across the business * An enthusiastic engaged attitude So, are you ready for your next job?
