We are seeking an experienced Reward Consultant to lead a Total Reward Project within a public sector organisation. This exciting role will focus on pay, reward, and benefits, including the implementation of a new portal.
Description
Lead the Total Reward Project, focusing on pay, reward, and benefits strategy.
Manage stakeholder relationships, including navigating challenges and influencing key decisions.
Provide technical expertise in costings, modelling, and business case production.
Oversee relationships and contract management with external consultants.
Develop options and recommendations to influence senior stakeholders and write reports/papers for ELT, Committees, and full council.
Collaborate with project teams and the POD function to ensure effective implementation and resource management.
Develop new reward policies as needed, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Profile
Proven experience in reward strategy development and project leadership.
Strong skills in stakeholder management and navigating complex relationships.
Expertise in costing, modelling, and the ability to write business cases.
Previous experience delivering similar projects within a public sector environment is a plus.
Job Offer
Contract: FTC (6-9 months) / Day Rate Considered
Full-time/Part-time: Flexible, based on experience
Location: Ideally Birmingham-based or adjacent; remote candidates considered if willing to travel. Occasional travel to London
