Job Description

Revit Architectural expert / BIM Coordinator needed to come into a large facdes subcontractor and become technical lead within Revit and BIM. BIM Coordinator Key Responsibilities • Guide project teams through the BIM process, ensuring standards are met and best practices adopted. • Coordinate Revit models, perform audits, and manage model exchanges. • Oversee model content creation, including complex family structures. • Use advanced BIM tools such as Navisworks, BIM360, and Dynamo to support project collaboration. • Check models for accuracy, propose adjustments, and monitor implementation. • Liaise with project leads to align design development and BIM strategies. • Provide training and mentoring to team members on BIM tools and workflows. • Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR). • Assist in developing and running scripts to streamline workflows using Dynamo and related tools. BIM Coordinator Required Skills and Experience • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the architecture or construction industry, with hands-on BIM coordination. • Strong Revit expertise, including model setup, family creation, and troubleshooting. • Experience coordinating large-scale projects in a BIM environment. • Familiarity with UK BIM standards and protocols, including ISO 19650. • Effective communication and organisational skills, with the ability to mentor team members. • Proficiency in Office 365 and working knowledge of AutoCAD. BIM Coordinator Desirable Skills • Knowledge of Navisworks, Dynamo, and scripting tools. • Experience in sectors such as Facades, Cladding and mixed-use developments. • Familiarity with creating and managing BIM documentation like BEPs and EIRs
