This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team at a large retail site, offering a wide range of products and exceptional customer service. The role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring high standards in stock management, team leadership, and health and safety compliance. Responsibilities: Manage and lead a team, including recruitment, training, and staff development Maintain strong communication with the owner, area managers, and office staff Oversee stocking levels, including ordering, stocktakes, and ensuring product availability Ensure high standards in product care and compliance with all regulations Oversee site management, housekeeping, and health and safety compliance Operate and maintain EPOS computer systems and other internal/external data systems Drive the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring smooth processes and a high level of customer satisfactionKnowledge/Skills/Qualifications: Proven experience in retail store management, ideally in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure Good computer literacy, including EPOS systems and Microsoft Office Flexibility during peak seasons and a proactive approach to business growth A full driving licence and own transport are essential First aid and forklift trained would be a desirableRefer a friend and earn up a retail voucher of your choice up the value of £500.
