Tailored Recruitment Consultancy are working with a leading employer in Bingley to recruit a Catering Manager to join their small but busy team.on a permanent basis.

They're looking for an experienced Catering Manager to lead the team at the Bingley site, driving excellence in both service and operations across the restaurant.
This role offers the perfect balance of career progression and work-life balance, with sociable hours (finishing by 5pm daily) and alternating weekends off.
As Catering Manager, you’ll inspire and coach your team to achieve high food standards, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and manage budgets effectively. You’ll also play a key role in developing menus, managing supplier relationships, and planning new initiatives to align with seasonal trends.
Coach the front and back of house teams
Ensure our food offering is delivered to the highest standards, ensuring exceptional customer service, and adhering to all food safety
Drive menu development and design across our catering offering
Deliver on catering budgets (sales, margin, wages), constantly reviewing performance against these and act as and when required to improve
Review overall staffing requirements to ensure we deliver in line with budget
Manage key supplier relationships (both internal and external) to drive efficiencies and to ensure continued great service
Plan with the Head of Food up to 6 months in advance to cover new initiatives, merchandising, marketing campaigns, seasonal flux in business and product sales
Liaise across our total food departments and Marketing team to ensure a joint up approach to our catering and food offerings.
Ensure there is an effective communicate plan is in place, through the Restaurant Managers, to ensure a smooth-running operation

Duties
* Plan, organise, and coordinate catering events, including menu selection and food preparation.
* Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing exceptional customer service.
* Manage food production processes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality meals.
* Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service skills.
* Monitor budgets and costs associated with catering services to ensure profitability.
* Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen area to maintain cleanliness and organisation.
Experience
* Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
* Strong background in food preparation, culinary arts, and food safety regulations.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
* Knowledge of menu planning, event coordination, and customer service best practices.
* A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests.
