Our client is a leading UK charity for children with brain injury and neurodisabilities, and currently seeking a dedicated Respiratory Lead Nurse to join their team. Their national specialist centre in Surrey collaborates with the NHS to support children and families, ensuring a seamless transition from hospital to home.
The Respiratory Lead Nurse will:
Lead the development of respiratory care expertise within the clinical team
Oversee respiratory assessments and care plans for children with complex needs
Develop and implement training programmes for nursing staff
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care
Manage tracheostomy clinics and acute respiratory management on site
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and guidelines

Annual salary of up to £58,500
Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
35 days inclusive of Public/Bank Holidays

The ideal Respiratory Lead Nurse will have:
NMC registration
Paediatric experience is essential
Significant experience in managing complex respiratory needs in children
Strong leadership and training skills
Expert knowledge and recent experience of ventilation management and tracheostomy care
