Position: Solicitor or CILEx – Residential Conveyancing   Location: Wiltshire Job Type: Full-Time   Salary: Dependant on Experience About the Role: Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced residential conveyancing lawyer to join their Residential Conveyancing Team in the Swindon office. This is a fee-earning role that requires managing a mixed caseload of residential property transactions with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: - Handle a mixed caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, freehold, leasehold, and re-mortgages. - Manage a small team of support staff, delegating work appropriately. - Maintain a high level of client service consistently. - Grow a network of contacts and clients to generate new referrals. - Assist partners in evolving the business development strategy for the residential conveyancing team. Knowledge and Experience: - Qualified solicitor or professional equivalent (approximately 3+ PQE). - Detailed knowledge and technical expertise in managing a mixed residential property caseload. - Experience in building and maintaining professional and client relationships. - Proven experience in generating a personal client base. - Experience in managing and working with support staff. - Strong billing and financial management skills. - Up-to-date understanding and commitment to risk management and compliance. - Competency with IT applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, and experience with case management systems.
