Job Description

Service Care Legal are currently recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are seeking a Residential Conveyancing & Compliance Officer to join their team. Please find below further details with regards to the role.   ROLE:                  Residential Conveyancing & Compliance Officer LOCATION:         London RATE:                   £25.00 to £30.00 per hour LTD (DOE and interview performance) CONTRACT:        6 months, 36 hours per week   Please note that this would require office attendance 2 days per week.   The Role  To work in a team delivering of homeowner policies ranging from ad hoc sales of land to permissions for alterations Ensuring that homeowners are compliant with lease and freehold transfer requirements. Provides operational support for the delivery of the Council’s policies relating to specific types of disposal and acquisition of council homes. T To also provide professional residential conveyancing advice and monitoring transactions carried out by external solicitors.The Person  A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with a current practising certificate Proven relevant equivalent experience of residential conveyancing practice and procedures in a similar role for at least three years, Experience with respect to local authority disposals would also be essentialIf this Residential Conveyancing & Compliance Officer role sounds like an opportunity of interest, please feel free to reach out to Lloyd Stanley on (phone number removed) , or email (url removed).
