Job Description

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors. Job Title: Residential Childcare Assessor / Trainer Location: Home / Field based covering East Sussex and Kent Salary: £30,000 - £37,000 + Excellent Bonus Scheme up to an additional £10,000 OTE (Depending on qualifications and experience) Package: Excellent Benefits Package, Bonus, Pension, Expenses + much more Type: Full Time, Permanent Essential Criteria: Hold either a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA OR Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET). Ideally have experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare, at Level 4 or Level 5. Must hold strong competency at Deputy Manager level or above, within a Residential Childcare setting. Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum. Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle. Must be flexible with travel.Duties include: Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships, at Level 4 or Level 5 (depending on competency). Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2. Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted. Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners. Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress. Support, advise and motivate learners.
