Religious Studies Teacher About The School Prospero Teaching is looking for a Religious Studies Teacher for an Ofsted "Good" Secondary school in Hamble. The school is a medium size mainstream Secondary School with a supportive R.E department. The school is going from strength to strength and providing CPD throughout the year. For this role the school will be key stage 3 and key stage 4. This is a vibrant and inclusive educational institution dedicated to fostering a diverse and respectful learning environment. We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Religious Studies Teacher to join our team and inspire students through engaging and thought-provoking lessons. Job Title: Religious Studies Teacher Location: Hamble, Hampshire Position Type: Full- Time, Temp- Perm contract Salary: £31,650- £49,084 per annum Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons to students of varying ages and abilities. Develop and implement a curriculum that covers a wide range of religious traditions, beliefs, and practices. Encourage critical thinking, open discussion, and respectful debate among students. Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and needs. Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and other staff members. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes mutual respect and understanding. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the overall educational goals of the school.Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification. Experience teaching Religious Studies, preferably in a school setting. Strong knowledge of various religious traditions and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
