Key Responsibilities:
Teaching Religious Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4
Planning and delivering engaging, thought-provoking lessons
Assessing and tracking student progress in line with school policies
Encouraging critical thinking and open discussion on ethical and philosophical issues
Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the humanities curriculum
Requirements
The successful RE Teacher will have;
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching Religious Studies at secondary level
A passion for fostering discussion and understanding of different faiths and beliefs
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students
Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
