A well-regarded and inclusive secondary school near Aintree, Liverpool, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Religious Education Teacher to join their supportive team. This full-time role involves delivering engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, encouraging open discussions on diverse beliefs, ethics, and worldviews.
The school fosters a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, promoting both academic success and personal growth. As a Voluntary Aided school, it has built an outstanding reputation in performing arts and sports, having held specialist Sports College status since 2000. This role is available immediately and will run until at least July 2025, with the possibility of an extension into the next academic year.
Requirements
The desired Religious Education Teacher will have;
- Hold QTS in the UK
- Experience of working with KS3 and KS4 levels
- Confidence in teaching the current curriculum
- Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
