Key Responsibilities :
Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
Foster critical thinking and respectful discussions on religious, ethical, and philosophical topics.
Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum to ensure student progress.
Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all students feel valued.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular learning and student engagement.
Requirements of RE Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching RE at the secondary level (KS3 & KS4).
A passion for Religious Studies and the ability to inspire students of all backgrounds.
Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student development.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
