An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Manager to lead a growing Structural Engineering Team based in Birmingham. This dynamic and forward-thinking company is known for delivering innovative solutions to clients across various sectors, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace.

The successful candidate will oversee complex structural engineering projects, provide expert guidance, and play a key role in shaping the team’s success while building strong client relationships.
This role is perfect for experienced structural engineers who have transitioned from hands-on design work to more senior responsibilities, such as project management, leadership, or associate-level positions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conducting structural reports, investigations, and surveys.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, and develop the regional engineering team, fostering collaboration and performance excellence.
* Oversee workflow, team performance, and management of regional operations, reporting monthly to leadership.
* Handle complex projects requiring advanced structural engineering expertise, ensuring compliance with standards.
* Collaborate with HR on recruitment, appraisals, and team development.
* Contribute to client relationship-building initiatives.
* Fulfill technical responsibilities as a Structural Engineer – Occasional design work, site visits, structural investigations and reports.
Ideal Candidate
* iStructE or ICE Accredited.
* Experienced in a similar role or project manager, principal engineer or associate engineer within structural engineering.
* Extensive experience in structural engineering and a deep understanding of statutory requirements.
* Proven leadership in managing teams to achieve KPIs and project delivery goals.
* Strong project management, delegation, and communication skills.
* Enthusiastic, driven, and committed to achieving company objectives and delivering excellence.
