Stowmarket Office (with UK travel) 💰 £32,000 - £36,000 + Commission + Mobile + Prestigious EV Vehicle About Us J&L Recruitment is a market leader in supplying competent temporary asbestos operatives to the asbestos removal industry. With a well-established reputation and a strong foothold in the market, we are looking for an ambitious Recruitment Manager to drive new business, manage key client relationships, and ensure we continue to be the go-to agency for asbestos recruitment. The Role This is a 360 recruitment role where you’ll be responsible for both business development and account management. You’ll identify opportunities, secure new clients, and ensure our existing clients receive the best recruitment service possible. You’ll need a sales-driven mindset, strong networking abilities, and a deep understanding of the recruitment industry. What You’ll Be Doing - Proactively sourcing and securing new clients within the asbestos and construction sectors, by visiting clients offices or meetings. - Managing Client Relationships – Strengthening partnerships with existing clients to ensure they rely on us for all their recruitment needs. - Candidate Sourcing & Placement – Identifying, screening, and placing top asbestos operatives into roles that match their skills. - Industry Networking – Attending client meetings, industry events, and golf days to enhance our presence and build strong relationships. - Negotiating Fees & Contracts – Ensuring we secure the best commercial terms with clients while maintaining strong, long-term partnerships. - Meeting Targets & KPIs – Driving revenue by consistently delivering top-level recruitment services and hitting key performance indicators. What We’re Looking For Recruitment Experience – Ideally, you have a proven track record in recruitment (construction/asbestos sector experience is a bonus). Confident Communicator – You know how to build trust with clients and candidates and can negotiate effectively. Locally Based – You should be within commuting distance of Stowmarket but happy to travel when needed. Full Driving License – You’ll have use of a prestigious EV vehicle (minimal car tax). Results-Driven Attitude – You thrive in a target-driven environment and enjoy the challenge of securing new business.
