Recruitment Compliance Officer £22,000 to £26,000 per year Preston, Lancashire Are you passionate about ensuring that Public Sector clients have the right staff with the highest standards of compliance? If so, Spencer Clarke Group has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Recruitment Compliance Officer. Responsibilities: As a Recruitment Compliance Officer for our Public Sector team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all candidates placed into work meet the necessary compliance standards. Your responsibilities will include: Right to Work Checks: Conducting comprehensive right to work checks for all candidates to ensure they have the legal authorisation to work in the country. Candidate Vetting: Verifying and evaluating candidate references to ensure their suitability for the positions they are being considered for. DBS Checks: Managing the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks process, ensuring all candidates have undergone the necessary background checks. Policy Adherence: Ensuring that all recruitment processes align with relevant regulations, safeguarding policies, and compliance standards. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance checks, making sure they are readily accessible for audit purposes. Requirements: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all compliance-related matters. Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with candidates and internal stakeholders.
