Intermediate Quantity Surveyor | High-End Residential scheme Andover, Hampshire | Permanent (would consider freelance) Salary negotiable (circa £55,000 - £65,000 + car allowance + package - DoE) Start ASAP Intermediate Quantity Surveyor needed to join the team on a JCT, super-prime residential project in Hampshire. The project itself is a major refurbishment (£90m+) of a 17th Century private country estate of more than 2000+ acres. The company is a well-established, prestigious, family run building contractor that specialises in renovation, extension and refurbishments of period and bespoke one-off properties. Reporting to a senior quantity surveyor, your typical job duties will be: ·​​Maintain tight control over variations, assisting site and contracts managers in recording, pricing, and accurately documenting their impact on final accounts. ·​​Prepare and present monthly job cost analysis data. ·​​Take full control of subcontract orders, applications, and enquiries, ensuring budget ·​Communicate effectively on all matters impacting project performance and the commercial interests of the company. ·​Ensure timely reminders and collection of retentions. ·​Format valuations and final accounts to suit individual requirements, expediting the certification process. This position could also be referred to as a Quantity Surveyor, Project Surveyor, Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, Project Quantity Surveyor, QS, Intermediate QS, Senior QS, Senior Quantity Surveyor and Project QS.
