Job's Duties and Responsibilities:
* This position in the team is responsible for cost management.
* A combination of typical project quantity surveyor/cost management activities.
* Create cost projections at each stage of the design and pre-tender.
* Retain knowledge of the various building contracts.
* Be aware of the effects of health and safety laws.
* Assist the Team in managing and approving the project's final account.
The Skills Required:
* Degree-qualified, with a BSc or MSc in quantity surveying or cost management, or with an equivalent conversion course
* Minimum of five years of experience, ARM understanding, and BOQs to ARM preparation.
* Prior experience performing/providing cost management services in a consulting or contracting environment is preferred.
* Extensive knowledge of construction and experience working as a QS in building projects
* Strong verbal, written, and mathematical literacy abilities.
