We are seeking a talented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing financial aspects of high end residential refurbishment projects and luxury new builds from a client side perspective. You will work closely with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cost Estimation: Preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment. This involves analysing tender documents, bills of quantities, and drawings.
* Contract Administration: Managing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions. This includes issuing work orders, payment certificates, and variation orders.
* Commercial Management: Monitoring and controlling project costs, including tracking expenses, preparing valuations, and identifying potential cost-saving measures.
* Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks that could impact the project's financial performance. This involves developing risk management strategies and contingency plans.
* Claims and Variations: Preparing and submitting claims for additional costs and variations to contracts. This involves analysing contract documents, gathering supporting evidence, and negotiating with clients and contractors.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Degree in Quantity Surveyinh
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surevyor in the construction industry, with a focus on high end residential projects
* Strong understanding of construction processes and techniques
* Experience working on heritage and listed building projects
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
