Trant Engineering has been awarded a place on the Wessex Water Framework and we have an immediate requirement for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team.
The framework will provide the Trant Process and Water sector with a portfolio of work on clean water and wastewater contracts within the Wessex Water area, over the next 5 years on AMP8.
The Quantity Surveyor will work with the Wessex Water team at our Head Office in Southampton, reporting to the Commercial Manager. They will also work closely with the project teams to manage the commercial function for projects under their control, using NEC Option C.

·Change Control / Compensation Events
·Subcontractor Procurement
·CVR's
·Early Warnings
·Updating Risk Register
·Monthly Commercial Reporting
·Cash Flow Forecasts
·Subcontractor Payments
·Dispute Resolution
·Final accounts
Desired Skills / Background
·HNC/HND/BSc in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or by experience
·A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor
·Experience of using NEC Option C
