The role of Quantity Surveyor – Fit Out & Refurbishment will involve:
* Quantity Surveyor position dealing with fit out and refurbishment projects for various industries such as; leisure, retail, healthcare, hotels, offices, pubs & restaurants
* Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations
* Negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers
* Producing formal quotations to customers
* Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
* Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
* Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
* Establish and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers
* Working on projects ranging in value from £250k to circa £3m
The ideal applicant will be an Quantity Surveyor – Fit Out & Refurbishment with
* Must have Quantity Surveying experience within the construction market sector
* Ideally will have experience within fit out, design & build, joinery or main contracting
* Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
* Highly organised with good attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* IT literate (Microsoft Office)
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Good team player who also works well individually
