An opportunity has opened for a Quality Manager to join a manufacturing company based in Maidstone, Kent. The ideal candidate will have experience of ISO 9001 and AS9100 auditing and been involved with certification or re-certification for a company.
What they’re looking for:
* Experience as a Senior Quality Engineer, Quality Lead or Quality Manager within the manufacturing sector
* ISO 9001 auditing experience
* AS9100 would be beneficial
* Certification and re-certification knowledge
* First article inspection report experience (FAIRs)
* Proven ability to drive continuous improvement
* Leadership or management skills
Quality Manager Responsibilities:
* Taking lead in maintaining and improving QMS
* Conducting internal and external audits to ISO 9001 and AS9100
* Driving continuous improvement within the team
* Leading a small team of Quality staff
* Overseeing FAIRs to the right standards
