Job Description

Quality Manager – Food Manufacturing Location: Norwich Area Salary: Competitive About the Role: We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing client, who is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Technical Manager, this role will see you lead the Quality team to ensure compliance with internal and external standards, drive the technical excellence agenda, and manage the development of the Quality Management System. You will also play a key role in customer and standards audits while supporting operational teams in resolving quality and technical issues. Key Responsibilities: * Foster a culture of food safety and quality across the site. * Lead BRC and other key audits, aiming for high performance (minimum A+ grade). * Oversee the Food Safety and Quality Culture programme and deliver Food Defence requirements. * Ensure the implementation and management of HACCP and pre-requisite programmes. * Develop and manage the Quality team, setting clear goals and succession plans. * Use data analysis and OPEX tools to identify root causes and drive improvements. * Deliver and report key Technical KPIs, ensuring compliance with systems (e.g. SAP, Foods Connected). Skills & Experience: * Proven experience in a Technical/Quality role, with audit leadership. * Strong working knowledge of BRC and industry regulations. * Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. * IT proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office. * Experience with 8-Step problem-solving methodologies is desirable. Qualifications: * Degree in Food Safety/Technology or a related field (essential). * HACCP Level 4; experience in TACCP and food authenticity (essential/desirable)
