Quality Manager – Aerospace Precision Engineering Manchester Salary £40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits Package Are you ready to take the lead in quality assurance within a fast-paced aerospace precision machining environment? A growing, high-performing precision machine shop specialising in rapid-turnaround solutions is seeking a Quality Manager to join their dynamic team. The Company Part of a renowned division specialising in precision machining solutions, catering to time-critical situations like AOG (Aircraft on Ground) or supplier challenges. With expertise in 5-axis CNC milling and a focus on aluminium machining, the team has grown rapidly, reflecting the growing reputation of within the customer base. The Role As Quality Manager, you’ll be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the quality management processes and systems, including the upkeep of the AS9100 accreditation. This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in their journey toward operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the AS9100 management system. Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues, implementing corrective actions. Ensure all products are delivered with the correct documentation, including FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports). Collaborate closely with Quality Inspectors and the production team to identify and rectify potential quality concerns. Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding quality assurance. About You You will be a professional with a passion for quality and a background in aerospace engineering. Whether you’re an experienced Quality Manager or a Senior Quality Engineer ready to step up, we want to hear from you! What We’re Looking For Aerospace background with expertise in maintaining AS9100 accreditation. Knowledge of precision machining of metallic products, particularly aluminium, is highly advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels. A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the confidence to lead quality initiatives.
