Title: Quality Manager
Duration: Permanent
Location: North West of England
Our client is looking for a Quality Manager to join their team in the North West of England.
Responsibilities:
- Management and implementation of quality management systems (17025)
- Promote Quality
- Implementation of QA/QC programs to detect issues, defects and errors
- Reduce cost
- Improve compliance to the required standards
- Monitor lab activities to ensure adherence to testing protocols and operational workflows
- Monitor process performance and report performance against indicators to senior leaders
- Management of equipment calibration program
- Deliver internal audits and recommend improvements
- Manage UKAS visits
- Investigation of all audit findings and submission within deadlines
- Reporting to senior leadership
- Undertale root cause analysis and develop corrective action plan
- Investigation of any complaints
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Quality Management, Chemistry or a related discipline
- Experience of working within a quality management role
- Experience in ISO 17025 accreditation and UKAS
- Ability to lead without direct management authority
- Experience in conducting audits
