Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Hourly Rate / Salary: £40,000 Per Annum + Monthly Bonus – KPI Dependant
Benefits: 31 Days Holiday including bank holidays, Pension Contributions, Free On-Site Parking, Career Progression. Paid holiday entitlement

In this role, you will ensure that all products meet customers' requirements, drive continuous improvements, and manage key quality processes, including customer feedback and returns, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Job Duties:
* Manage and support the quality team of 9, ensuring they perform key tasks such as production audits, 1st off inspections, product quarantine, and the resolution of customer quality issues.
* Provide timely and effective communication with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
* Participate in team briefings and highlight any concerns affecting performance.
* Manage customer complaints and returns in a timely and effective manner, ensuring feedback loops and corrective actions are implemented. Drive continuous improvement by applying lessons learned to production processes.
* Analyse quality data, production scrap, and process capability studies to identify improvement opportunities. Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce the cost of quality and enhance product consistency and reliability.
* Take ownership of the UK ISO 9001:2015 certification, ensuring processes and procedures are adhered to for ongoing compliance
* Drive initiatives to reduce scrap, rework, and customer returns.
* Increase production efficiency and minimize waste.
What we are looking for:
* Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 certification and compliance.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities, particularly in handling customer complaints, returns, and conducting root cause analysis.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a quality team while ensuring high performance and effective issue resolution.
