Job Description
Arden White is thrilled to offer you a thrilling opportunity to join our clients Inspection Department. Based in Moulton Park, they are a key component provider specializing in CNC machining plastic components, lightweight foams, and composite patterns and molds, they cater to prestigious industries such as Formula 1, Aerospace, Marine, Automotive, Oil and Gas, as well as serving prison and police authorities.
Position: Quality Inspector
Full Time (38.5 hours a week)
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:45 am to 16:15 pm, Friday 07:45 am to 14:45 pm Remuneration: £39-40k - Overtime paid at 1.3 X after 38.5 hours.
Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in Aerospace or Formula One environments.
* Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and tolerances.
* Hands-on experience with 3D scanners and CMM machines.
* Knowledge and experience in NDT.
People Skills:
* Attention to detail, because precision matters.
* Organized and self-motivated individuals thrive in our fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work independently and solve problems creatively.
* A confident communicator, adept at liaising with customer Quality Departments.
Operating Systems:
* Proficiency in Hexagon Romer Arm 3D Scanners and programmable CMM machines.
The Role:
* Dive into the exciting world of in-process inspection.
* Ensure the quality of components within the required timescales and to the highest standards.
* Take charge of compiling and processing both internal and external statistics.
* Review and analyze corrective action reports.
* Be a driving force in contributing to continuous improvement activities.
