Quality Inspector
Location: Towcester
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000
An opportunity has opened for a Quality Inspector to join an electronic manufacturing company based in Towcester. The ideal candidate will have a solid background working as a Quality Inspector and must have worked to IPC standards – particularly IPC 620. IPC certification is beneficial.
What they’re looking for:
* Experience working as a Quality Inspector in an Electronics / Electrical or Manufacturing environment
* IPC standards experience (Certification to IPC 620 beneficial)
* Excellent knowledge of wiring, soldering or cable assembly
* Experience of FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports)
* ISO 9001 experience
* Documentation writing experience and high level of detail
* Any test experience is a bonus
Quality Inspector Responsibilities:
* Working within the Electronics / Electrical team inspecting and testing assemblies
* Inspecting assemblies to IPC 620 standards
* Produce inspection and FAIRs
* Keep inspection records up to date within the company systems
* Documentation review and writing
* Testing assemblies to ensure they are working
