Job Description
Abatec is recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join one of South West’s biggest Civil Engineering projects. This is an opportunity to join an award-winning tier-one contractor that has secured an exciting, challenging, and ongoing project in Plymouth, Devon.
Our client requires a Quality Engineer who has previously worked in Civil Engineering and has experience with ITP’s, NCR’s, MAR’s, and Life-Time Quality Records.
As a Quality Engineer you will:
* Ensure that all quality documentation is completed in accordance with work activity.
* Manage Inspection Test Plans, Non-Conformance Reports, Material Approval Request etc.
* Record KPI’s and performance data
* Implement work inspection standards, utilising training and quality boards on site.
Our client requires a Quality Engineer with:
* Experience of working in a similar position for a civils contractor
* Strong computer and IT skills
* An understanding of construction drawings
* SMSTS, CSCS card
* Degree or similar in Construction or Engineering
Salary/Benefits:
* £450 - £500 p/day (PAYE/Umbrella)
