With their commitment to producing high-quality products and their focus on continuous improvement, they have built a strong reputation in the market. They are now seeking a talented Quality Engineer to join their team in Peterborough. Responsibilities Coordinating plant activities to meet customer needs Driving continuous improvement in product quality, cost-effectiveness, and delivery performance Ensuring compliance with the Quality Control Plan and maintaining process control parameters Monitoring and ensuring the quality of incoming raw materials Proactively resolving quality issues during production runs Developing strong customer and supplier relationships Managing customer complaints and implementing preventive measures Utilising Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Continuous Improvement techniques to improve quality performance Analysing and reporting on the costs of non-quality Championing Food Safety and quality improvement initiatives What we need from you Degree level qualification in Quality or Industrial Engineering OR 3+ years of experience as a Quality Auditor in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and process capability Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Proficiency in using quality and continuous improvement tools and techniques Previous experience in problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and process capability What we would like from you Demonstrable record of quality improvement in a fast-paced production environment
