Quality Control Technician
Location: Ledbury
Contract Type: Fixed Term Maternity Cover (6 - 12 Months)
Working Hours: Twilight Shift Pattern (06:55 - 19:00 / 18:55 - 07:00, including weekends)Our client is a Manufacturing business based in Ledbury looking for a Quality Control Technician to join their Quality team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in the manufacturing process of packaging. This position is ideal for someone with an engineering background who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
Conduct quality control testing on production orders to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Perform quality checks and process confirmations on active production to maintain compliance with all process parameters and requirements.
Take responsibility for decisions related to product release to customers and guide production operators in quality-based decision-making.
Participate actively in the internal audit process and calibrate testing equipment.
Issue certificates of analysis (CoA) and communicate results with customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Level 3 Engineering Qualification
Experience in a Quality control environment
Experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing
Experience conducting audits and process checks.
Proficient in quality investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
