Job Description

Quality Control Team Leader We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company based in Eastleigh for a Quality Control Team Leader. Introduction Our client are looking for someone to drive and support development of a small team within the quality control team as well as maintaining the manufacturing schedules and improve efficiencies. Key Responsibilities * Manage the Quality Control teams’ daily activities, ensuring each member of staff has clear expectations for the day and targets to achieve. * Support ongoing training and development of the QC team. * Support production operatives with quality concerns they may raise or offer technical advice throughout the manufacturing process. * To record, report on errors and quality concerns, and any repeat issues that can be communicated back into the relevant areas to prevent the same errors. * Ensure all products meet the required Quality standards. * undertake point inspections within manufacturing builds. * Manage non-conformities effectively. * Managing return requests and change note requests. * Ensure all product labelling and documentation are consistent. Ideal Skills and Experience * Management of a manufacturing or engineering team, team leading, supervising or management (however applicants looking for their next step up will also be considered. * Quality Control experience within manufacturing or engineering * Both mechanical and electrical quality experience.
