Quality Auditor
We are seeking a self-motivated Quality Auditor to ensure compliance with current legislation and company procedures. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of product standards and extensive experience in a similar industry.
Quality Auditor's Responsibilities:
* Ensure the company’s food safety and quality objectives are consistently met.
* Cover all designated areas (Low Risk/High Care) according to the rota.
* Review out-of-specification results and implement corrective actions.
* Investigate customer complaints and provide timely resolutions.
* Maintain specifications for work-in-progress (WIP), raw materials, and finished products.
* Ensure GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards are upheld across all areas of the company, adhering to current legislation, systems, and procedures.
* Audit all production paperwork daily to meet BRC and customer requirements.
* Verify production documentation daily and conduct traceability exercises as required.
* Implement operational changes in line with technical guidelines.
* Take action on non-conformances, ensuring adherence to established systems and procedures.
* Provide training to operational staff when necessary.
* Support new product development, including sample preparation, production trials, DAF plant monitoring, and taste panels, as required.
* Perform any additional tasks requested by the Head of Technical to ensure the smooth operation of the department and the company.
Quality Auditor's Knowledge and Skills:
* Experienced Internal Auditor with a background in food manufacturing.
* Proficient in conducting internal, customer, and GMP audits.
* Experience with high-risk/high-care food production processes is advantageous.
* Flexible and willing to support the business wherever needed.
* Knowledge of HACCP (Level 2 or Level 3 certification).
