Quality Auditor (Near Swindon)
3 month Fixed term contract
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

Role Overview:
The Quality Auditor plays a key role in maintaining product safety and quality. Responsibilities include conducting audits, enforcing compliance with food safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Train and support factory staff in quality procedures.
* Maintain and calibrate factory measuring equipment.
* Monitor and enforce food safety, quality, and integrity protocols.
* Conduct audits, investigate non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.
* Perform environmental swabbing, air plate testing, and water sampling.
* Oversee product testing, sensory assessments, and shelf-life monitoring.
* Assist in customer and third-party audits.
* Ensure production records meet compliance standards.
Skills & Experience:
* Quick learner with strong attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication at all levels.
* Proactive ‘can-do’ attitude with the ability to prioritise tasks.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word.
* Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
* Ideally hold a Food Science qualification and HACCP / Food Safety knowledge.
