Quality Assurance Assistant
Days only Monday to Friday 6.15am start
£26,600 plus overtime paid after 40 hours
We are currently supporting a client based near Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire with the recruitment of a QA Assistant, due to a new business acquisition they need someone to join their expanding team. You will need to have your own transport given on the location of the role, ideally they need someone from FMCG background however this is not essential previous QA experience is required you will need to have a good level English, attention to detail as you will be based on a line completing QA checks for weighs, labelling etc
Duties
* Responsible for upholding and helping to enhance the company food safety, legality, quality and authenticity culture.
* Leading by example, ensure behaviours and actions are consistently in line with Company Values and our ‘SAFE’ culture and ensuring that all processes and procedures regarding Health, Safety and Hygiene are strictly adhered to.
* Complete quality record on a daily basis or against the agreed frequency detailed in the product specification.
* Daily completion of quality start up and completion checks via the in house ‘app’
* Daily production quality checks such as torque tests and product weight checks
* Paperwork checks, ensuring all batch codes and dates are entered and correct
Candidate must haves:
* A willingness to help on the production line when needed
* A strong work ethic
* Flexibility with hours
* Own transport to get to work as the site is quite remote.
* Experience in a quality role is essential
