Job Description
Are you a passionate and dedicated educator with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)? We are looking for an experienced tutor to provide high-quality support to students of all ages, helping them achieve their full potential.
About the Role:
Deliver personalised one-to-one or small group tuition in your subject specialism.
Support students in building confidence and improving their academic performance.
Plan and tailor lessons to meet individual learning needs.
Provide engaging and interactive sessions, either in person or online.
Location: Oxford
Position: QTS Tutor
Hours: up to 25 hours per week
Start date: As soon as possible
Duration: ongoing until a school placement is found
Contract Type: Temporary/part-time
Pay rate: from £25 per hourExperience, Training and Qualifications of the Tutor:
QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications is preferred
Demonstrated experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Possess UK classroom teaching experience and experience delivering tailored lesson plans
Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
Have experience working with challenging behaviour and disengaged pupilsTo be eligible for this role, the potential Tutor must:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
