Job Description
FOSTERING Social Worker The main focus for this role is the In-House Fostering Duty desk – You will be the key person negotiating and finding placements within our In-house cohort of foster carers. You will also be able to complete viability assessments for placements within potential family and friend arrangements. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days 9am to 5pm (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) in the office (Town Hall – Romford) You will be an experienced Fostering Social Worker, the post holder will have the ability to carry out face to face home visits to our carers both within and out of borough. Post holders are required to be on an out of hours’ rota on a rota basis. APPLICANT IS REQUIRED TO HAVE A CURRENT SOCIAL WORK ENGLAND REGISTRATION AND 2 OR MORE YEARS EXPERIENCE OF WORKING AS A SOCIAL WORKER WITH CHILDREN/YOUNG PEOPLE AND FAMILIES SERVICESBefore You Apply
