Title: QC Analyst & Senior QC Analyst

Our client is looking for a QC Analyst & a Senior QC Analyst to join the Quality function to facilitate the testing and release of manufactured pharmaceutical products.
Key responsibilities:
For the Senior QC Analyst
- Supervise/lead of a team of analysts in the Quality Control).
- Review of Batch Manufacturing Documents and analytical test results
- Review and approval of product labels for use by the Production Department.
- To perform testing of manufactured product samples for release, stability studies and validation using various analytical techniques such as HPLC and GC.
- Assigning duties to analysts’ dependant on production release requirements
- Reviewing completed analytical testing results.
- Preparation and review of Standard Operating Procedures, Raw Material Documents, Analytical Test Reports, Validation Protocols and Reports.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting and equipment and analytical methods.
- Assist in the interface between Quality Control Laboratory, Quality Assurance, and Production.
- Inspection preparation
- Review of analytical data
For the QC Analyst
- Review and approval of product labels for use by the Production Department.
- To perform testing of manufactured product samples using various analytical techniques such as HPLC and GC.
- Reviewing completed analytical testing results.
- Assist in the interface between Quality Control Laboratory, Quality Assurance, and Production.
- Inspection preparation
- Review of analytical data against the relevant pharmacopeial and registered specifications.
Requirements:
- Experience of testing of raw materials to British Pharmacopoeia and finished products to registered specifications.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving/troubleshooting.
- Analytical experience, preferably including IR and NIR spectroscopy, High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography
