As a QA Engineer, you'll develop automated testing solutions for Hive's IoT Platform, Hub, and Mobile applications, supporting innovative energy solutions like EV charging, solar energy, batteries, air source heat pumps, home heating, and lighting systems.
Location: Remote working with occasional office travel
Technical Competencies:
Testing physical hardware, web, and mobile applications
TDD, BDD, Continuous Deployment, and Continuous Integration
Remote data via REST and JSON
Agile Scrum
Java or Python (both is a bonus)
Nice to Have:
Linux and headless OS management, scripting, and automation
AWS Infrastructure
Zigbee, Modbus, WebSocket, MQTT, Protobuf
App metrics and third-party analytics tools
Functional testing and code quality improvement
Jira or similar bug tracking tools
Solar, battery, and air source heat pump technologies
Behavioural Competencies:
Excellent communication and teamwork
